2 Workers Killed In Annapolis, Arnold Accidents
A worker in Arnold died Tuesday when a tree fell on him, while a worker in Annapolis died after he fell out of a tree, authorities say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Workers at two different job sites in Annapolis and Arnold died as a result of unrelated accidents Tuesday morning, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department officials. In one case a tree fell on a worker, while in the second accident a man fell from a tree.
The first fatal mishap took place about 7:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Ritchie Highway South in Arnold when a tree fell on a worker. A man in his 20s was declared dead at the scene by fire department paramedics.
The second incident occurred less than two hours later in the 2600 block of Claibourne Road in Annapolis. Firefighters responded to a man who had fallen about 30 feet from a tree around 9:10 a.m. Paramedics said the victim, in his 20s, was declared dead at the scene.

The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified of both incidents.
MOSH spokeswoman Maureen O'Connor told the Capital-Gazette both incidents are under investigation.
