2017 Howlin' Hustle 5K Walk/Run Street Closures

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The 2017 Howlin' Hustle 5K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, and is presented by the Annapolis Police Department in support of Special Olympics Maryland. The 5K course takes participants around Annapolis. Registration will open at 6:30 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 7:30 a.m. Costumes are encouraged; there will be awards for best individual and team costumes.

Several roads will be closed on a rolling basis starting from 7:30 to 9: a.m. Saturday. The race begins and ends on Herbert Sachs Drive at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Boulevard.

The 5K course will include closures on College Avenue, Church Circle, Main Street, Randall Street, Dock Street, King George Street, and Route 450 at the following times:

• Start to Church Circle from 7:30 to 8 a.m.
• Main Street to Randall Street (Gate 1) from 7:35 to 8:15 a.m.
• King George Street from 7:40 to 9 a.m.
• West Annapolis at Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd and Taylor Ave. from 7:15 to 9 a.m.
• Taylor Ave. at Rowe Blvd. from 7:30-7:40 a.m. and from 7:45-9 a.m.

Free parking is available onsite at the church. All preregistered runners will receive a long-sleeve performance tee and are welcome to join us for post-race refreshments provided by Coca-Cola, Graul's, Dunkin Donuts and Naval Bagels.

Donations can be made online, and registration can be done on the event website.

Packet Pick-Up:
Race packets can be picked up at Charm City Run Annapolis on Friday, October 27, between 3 pm and 6 pm. Charm City Run Annapolis is located in the Annapolis Towne Centre at 1910 Towne Centre Blvd, Suite 120, Annapolis. Race packets can also be picked up the morning of the race at the registration table beginning at 6:30 am.

Awards:
Awards will be distributed to the top fundraising team and individual as well as top 3 overall male, female, Junior (11 - 18) and Kid (10 and under) finishers.
