4 Pedestrians Hit by Vehicles Over Weekend
One victim was killed and others were sent to the hospital after three separate accidents, according to Anne Arundel authorities.
Four pedestrians have been hit by vehicles – with one death and one person in critical condition – since Friday in Anne Arundel County.
According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, the first incident happened about 9:30 p.m. Friday near Route 295 North and Route 195. A 42-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second pedestrian accident took place about 3:30 p.m. Saturday near Route 198 and Russett Green East. Paramedics found a 23-year-old man who had been struck by a car. He was taken to Shock Trauma Baltimore with serious injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.

And, on Sunday, two people were hit by a vehicle as they changed a flat tire, sending both victims to area hospitals. The incident happened in the area of Route 295 North between the county line and Route 198 about 9:13 p.m.
A 38-year-old man was taken by paramedics to Laurel Regional Hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries, and a 28-year-old woman was taken to Shock Trauma Baltimore by paramedics with injuries that were serious but not believed life threatening.
