$44K Cash Seized With Accused Oxycodone Dealer During Arrest

An Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force arrest of a Glen Burnie man yielded $44K in cash plus Oxycodone pills.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — An Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force arrest of a Glen Burnie man yielded about $44,000 in cash plus Oxycodone pills and weapons, authorities say. Officers from the task force raided a house at 7542 E. Howard Road in Glen Burnie early Thursday morning.

Officers had obtained a search warrant as part of an investigation into reported narcotics trafficking from the residence. During a search of the home, detectives found 57 Oxycodone pills with an estimated street value of $855, a stolen 9mm Sig Saur Pro handgun, a shotgun, a .22 caliber rifle, $44,461 in cash and less than a gram of heroin. Detectives also recovered cutting agent, and paraphernalia indicating the distribution of heroin.

Earl Colclough, 27, of the 7500 block of East Howard Road in Glen Burnie, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of drug possession, distribution and firearms related charges.

The arrest was part of an investigation by the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force, which is comprised of members from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, the Annapolis Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department, with the assistance of the Anne Arundel County Special Operations Section Quick Response Team.
