7-Eleven Robber's Pellet Gun Loaded With Real Ammunition: Police
A Pasadena man is charged with robbing the local 7-Eleven store armed with a pellet gun loaded with actual bullets, police say.

PASADENA, MD — A Pasadena man is charged with robbing a 7-Eleven store with a pellet gun loaded with real handgun ammunition, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The robbery was reported about 5:20 a.m. Thursday at the 7-Eleven store at 2800 Mountain Road in Pasadena.
The store clerk told police officers that a man entered the store and approached the counter armed with a handgun. Police say the suspect demanded cash from the register, the clerk complied, and the robber fled the store on foot.
A description of the robbery suspect was given to several units en route to the area, and detectives spotted a man matching the suspect's description. Police say the suspect — identified as Shane Vincent Ferrara, 21, of the 800 block of 207th Street in Pasadena — had in his possession a revolver-style pellet gun that was loaded with actual handgun ammunition, along with cash that was taken during the robbery.

In addition, officers say Ferrara possessed about 2.4 grams of Zanax, a prescription drug to treat anxiety.
He was charged with armed robbery and related charges.
