After Fatal Shooting, Annapolis Police Seek Info On Social Media Posts, Videos
Annapolis homicide detectives think there may be social media posts or videos about a recent fatal shooting. Police asked for more details.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis police renewed their search for details on a recent fatal shooting. Officers think there may be social media posts or videos related to the January killing of Annapolis man Reco Ramon Johnson, 18.
"Detectives have received information that there are relevant social media posts/videos and persons that witnessed this crime," the Annapolis Police Department said in a Feb. 14 press release.
Authorities said they heard about the Jan. 22 shooting in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive around 6:52 p.m.

Police said they found the man outside of a building suffering from injuries consistent with being shot.
The victim died from his injuries at the scene, officers said.

Authorities released the victim's name on Jan. 24.
The Annapolis Police Department is investigating the case as a homicide.
