An all-green, Irish party for seniors

More than 50 seniors celebrated their St. Patrick's Day at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center.

More than 50 seniors celebrated their St. Patrick’s Day at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center.

They partied, listened to Irish music, and enjoyed green punch, cookies with green sprinkles, green grapes, and green veggie sticks. Some even danced an Irish jig as the duo, Sylvia and Rich, performed.

Originally scheduled for earlier in the week, the party was rescheduled to take advantage of better weather and the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. The party goers included a leprechaun, two people with green-hair, two people with green tutus, and plenty of green hats, bowties, jewelry, scarves, and outfits.
