ANNE ARUNDEL CO., MD — In an effort to fill gaps, officials from the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County fire departments are weighing the possibility of jointly funding a six-person crew that would operate during peak times, according to Capital Gazette.
Although the initiative still needs clearance from both the city and county councils, the move is being considered for the fiscal year 2027.
The crew would run daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to Capital Gazette, which noted some officials are concerned the plan could prompt costs to skyrocket in the future.
