ANNAPOLIS, MD — This month, two restaurant concepts will open to the public in Annapolis, offering diners a mix of Italian and Mexican favorites.
The Atlas Restaurant Group announced Tuesday that Italian chophouse Marmo and the dockside cantina Armada will be opening July 16 at 80 Compromise St., at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, Autograph Collection.
While Marmo offers dishes with freshly hand-rolled pastas, seafood, or hand-cut prime steaks, the Armada features a variety of tacos, quesadillas, fajitas and nachos.
Both restaurants have an extensive list of alcoholic beverages, ranging from wine, tequila, mezcal and agave spirits.
Marmo is situated in a space large enough to accommodate 350 guests, including 150 seats overlooking the Annapolis Harbor. The Armada has 200 seats, half of which offer waterfront views.
Alex Smith, who serves as the founder and president of the Atlas group, described the new Annapolis sites as "one of the most iconic locations on the Chesapeake Bay."
In addition to the two restaurants, the openings include over 13,000 square feet of event space that has harbor views.
"We saw how special Annapolis is from day one, and we’re excited to continue investing in the city with the opening of Marmo, Armada, and our new event space," Smith said in a statement. "We look forward to welcoming the Annapolis community and visitors alike."
While Marmo will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Armada will only provide lunch and dinner service.
Interested diners can stop in at Marmo for breakfast and lunch Monday through Sunday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dinner services run Sunday through Thursday between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
For the Armada, guests can stop in for lunch anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Dinner starts at 3 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
