ANNAPOLIS, MD — The City of Annapolis is again deploying a new traffic camera as part of a larger effort to encourage safer driving in the region, it announced Friday.
As part of the city's automated speed enforcement program, a new camera will go live on Edgewood Road at Breakwater Drive.

The camera, which will issue warnings for the first 30 days, is set to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Citations won't be issued to drivers until Sept. 21.
The latest addition to the region's camera enforcement comes under Maryland Transportation Article 21-809.
