1. Deadly Annapolis home explosion deemed accidental, authorities say (wtop.com) — Authorities say Wednesday's deadly house explosion on Green Holly Drive in Annapolis was accidental, killing 76‑year‑old Linda Synowczynski and critically injuring another resident. The blast collapsed the home's second floor, briefly closed parts of Green Holly Drive, and forced nearby evacuations while Anne Arundel County fire investigators continue their probe.
   

2. Paul 'Bo' Bollinger to Retire After Decade Leading Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (eyeonannapolis.net) — Annapolis-based Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating will see longtime leader Paul "Bo" Bollinger retire at the end of 2026 after guiding the nonprofit from near insolvency to national prominence. He spearheaded the fully accessible Adaptive Boating Center on Back Creek, giving CRAB a permanent Annapolis home that now serves about 1,800 guests with disabilities each year.
   

3. A Return to Sailing (spinsheet.com) — An Annapolis resident's move back east rekindled his passion for sailing on the Chesapeake, from Wednesday night races to courses at Annapolis Sailing School. He now races, cruises, and volunteers with the Annapolis Maritime Museum's skipjack Wilma Lee and serves on the Hospice Cup board, helping connect more locals to safe, community-focused boating.
   

4. 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show Brings 350-Plus Boats and New Experiences to City Dock (eyeonannapolis.net) — City Dock will host the 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show October 8–11, bringing more than 350 boats, on‑water training, kids' activities, and a new layout around ongoing dock construction. Locals can explore new models, seminars, family attractions, and nearby downtown Annapolis businesses throughout the four‑day event.
