ANNAPOLIS, MD — A new fitness center is now open in Annapolis, bringing months of anticipation to a close.
The FS8 studio opened Monday at 169C Jennifer Road in the Jennifer Square shopping center. The space previously housed New Balance before the retailer relocated to the Festival at Riva center in January.
The new studio offers a range of fitness activities, including reformer, Pilates, and yoga workout classes. Fitness courses are held daily.
FS8 is celebrating its opening with a week of events that kicked off over the weekend with a sold-out outdoor class.
Residents can expect a Kendra Scott pop-up event Wednesday, as well as a grand opening party complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday. See the schedule.
Organizers say the opening celebration will include a mix of giveaways and prizes.
The Annapolis location marks the second FS8 to open in Anne Arundel County, with the first site at 570 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park.
A total of three FS8 studios — including the Towson branch — are located in Maryland. Efforts are underway to open a new site in Baltimore.
