Man Stabbed While Sitting Inside Car In Annapolis: Police

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man is recovering after being stabbed over the weekend near a residential Annapolis community.

Anne Arundel County Police said in a release that the stabbing occurred Saturday on the 900 block of Epping Forest Road, with officers responding shortly after 9 p.m.

At the scene, officials found a man who reported he'd been stabbed by another person while he was sitting inside a car.

Moments after the stabbing, the man fled to a nearby home for assistance, while the individual wanted in the case fled the scene on foot.

Authorities said the pair had known one another but did not state what may have prompted the altercation.

As the search continues for the wanted individual, the man remains hospitalized and in stable condition.
