ANNAPOLIS, MD — The popular Sardi's Chicken shop has officially opened to residents in the Annapolis area this week, providing customers with a taste of Peruvian cuisine.
Sardi's opened its doors at 153 Defense Highway, directly across from Gateway Village shopping center.
Customers looking to check out the restaurant can expect a menu that includes servings of steak or shrimp skewers, lomo/pollo saltado, ceviche, quesadillas and empanadas, among other offerings.
The classic charbroiled chicken that Sardi's is known for can be served either as a whole chicken or cut into quarters.
The new opening marks the first Sardi's in Annapolis, but the second in Anne Arundel County. The chicken shop first expanded into the county in 2017 with the opening of its Glen Burnie branch.
Across Maryland, Sardi's operates over a dozen locations that are mostly spread across Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
Sardi's stays open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
