The 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show is back with a record boat lineup, including 6 North American debuts (wmar2news.com) โ Downtown Annapolis is packed this weekend as the 2026 Annapolis Powerboat Show returns with a record number of boats and six North American debuts along City Dock. Organizers say reconstruction work has been adjusted so visitors can still enjoy Susan Campbell Park, Main Street businesses, and a full slate of powerboat and upcoming sailboat displays along the Chesapeake waterfront.

Luminis Health systems are back online six weeks after cyberattack (thebanner.com) โ Patients in Annapolis can once again fully access services at Anne Arundel Medical Center now that Luminis Health has restored systems six weeks after a cyberattack. Emergency diversions and MyChart outages have ended, payment plans are being reset so patients aren't penalized, and the system is reviewing its technology while continuing to investigate what data, if any, was affected.

True Food Kitchen Files Chapter 11; Annapolis Restaurant Remains Open as Bethesda Closes (eyeonannapolis.net) โ Despite True Food Kitchen's Chapter 11 bankruptcy and 12 nationwide closures, the Annapolis Town Center restaurant on Towne Centre Boulevard remains open with regular hours, reservations, and online ordering. While Bethesda's location has closed and jobs were lost, company filings indicate remaining restaurants, including Annapolis, are expected to keep operating during the restructuringโfor now.

Anne Arundel County FD Fire Graduates 33 New EMS/Firefighters (dailydispatch.com) โ Anne Arundel County just graduated 33 new EMS/firefighters, including one who will serve with the Annapolis City Fire Department, boosting emergency response capacity for local residents.
