ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis man who was facing more than 60 charges in a homemade explosives case was recently hit with one more, but this time it's a federal charge, according to a report.
Citing unsealed court records, The Banner reported that federal prosecutors charged 37-year-old Lee Scott Wygal Ralston with one count of unlawfully receiving, producing, or possessing a firearm or destructive device.
The federal case remained sealed until Ralston came under federal custody.

The latest comes after Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Anne Colt Leitess told Patch that the case was being "relinquished" to federal prosecutors "given the sheer number of devices found and the federal resources that were used in the investigation."
The case dates back to April, when more than 60 charges were filed against Ralston for homemade explosive devices that were uncovered at his Annapolis home.
Ralston had been under investigation by the Maryland Natural Resources Police for nighttime deer hunting. Separately, charges were also filed against a former K-9 handler with the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office after he provided guidance and explosive materials to Ralston.
