Anne Arundel County Easter Egg Hunts, Bunny Visits: Where, When To Find Them

Check out these family fun Easter events happening all April long in Anne Arundel County.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Family-friendly games and prizes are on tap this Easter season around Anne Arundel County as several organizations are planning Easter egg hunts in commemoration of the holiday.

For children, there will be face paintings, dancing and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Adults are invited in on the act as well, with several activities planned for them, such as brunches and events planned for the whole family.

Want to pose with the Easter Bunny? Head to the Westfield Annapolis Mall at 2002 Annapolis Mall Rd. for a photo shoot. The Easter Bunny will be at the mall from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with breaks from 2-3 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. On Sundays the Easter Bunny will be present from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding a break from 2-3 p.m.

Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Night

Easter's not just for kids to enjoy. This grown-up hunt for prize-filled eggs includes golden eggs worth $50 or more. The event is hosted by Annapolis Recreation and Parks and will be held at 8 p.m. March 31 at Truxtun Park, near the pool parking lot in Annapolis. Adults are welcome to pay $10 to participate and are asked to bring a basket and a flashlight. Proceeds will benefit the Annapolis Recreation Scholarship Fund.

Very Important Bunny

Buddy's Crabs and Ribs at 100 Main St. will host a breakfast buffet with singing, dancing, balloons, an Easter Bonnet Parade and more starting at 8:30 a.m. April 1, 8 and 15. The cost is $13 per person.

Easter Egg Hunt & Animal Tour

Tour the Hammond-Harwood House at 19 Maryland Ave., then take part in an Easter egg hunt and Easter craft making. The cost is $10-15 per person April 8.

Peter Rabbit's Egg Hunt

Follow Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor through the gardens as you hunt for eggs filled with sweet treats and goodies at Willow Oak Flower & Herb Farm at 8109 Telegraph Rd. in Severn. Make sure to reserve your spot for $5 per child. Please bring an egg basket and arrive a few minutes early to check in.

Peeps Bingo

Ready to play some Peeps Bingo? Check out this fun event at the Annapolis Area Library April 19. Kids ages 7-12 are welcome to play for free.

Egg Dying Naturally

Use natural materials to dye Easter eggs at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater from 1-2 or 2-3 p.m. April 23. It costs $5 per person to dye eggs. Attendees are asked to bring one dozen hard-boiled eggs.
