Annapolis Cooling Center Open Friday, Saturday

Temperatures will reach a heat index in the triple digits Friday and Saturday; Annapolis residents can escape the heat at a cooling center.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — With temperatures expected to feel like 100 degrees on Friday and Saturday, Annapolis officials have opened the Pip Moyer Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane, as a cooling center.

The hours are as follows:

  • Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 10th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Residents using the facility as a cooling center will not have access to recreation activities.
