Annapolis Crash Sends 2 To Shock Trauma Center: Report
A Sunday night crash sent 2 drivers to a shock trauma center, Annapolis fire officials said. The accident shut down Forest Drive for hours.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Sunday evening crash in Annapolis left two drivers with life-threatening injuries, fire officials said. Medics flew the two to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
The accident happened around 8:38 p.m. at the intersection of Forest Drive and Old Forest Drive. The two drivers were trapped in their vehicles when the Annapolis Fire Department arrived.
Both motorists are men; one is about 50 years old, and the other is around 68, officials said.

Neither car had any passengers, and nobody else was hurt, authorities said. The Annapolis Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
Forest Drive was closed in both directions for several hours between Gemini Drive and Old Forest Drive. It has since reopened.
