Annapolis Crime: Drug Arrest Update, Bike Stolen from Carport on Mitchell Street

Third Person Arrested on Drug Charges
City police have arrested a third person on drug charges after reportedly next to a vehicle.

Earlier this week, Patch reported that —Samual Benjamin Joyce III, 42, and Juan Alvin Morgan, 51. At that point, police said charges were pending against a third person.
Police on Thursday arrested 46-year-old Gary Alexander Allen of Annapolis on a warrant related to the incident. Police said Allen is charged with CDS possession and CDS possession with intent to distribute. According to police, he is currently being held on $40,000 bond.

Bike Stolen from Carport on Mitchell Street
City police are currently investigating the theft of a bicycle from a covered carport in the 1100 block of Mitchell Street. Police said someone entered the carport and took a brown wooden basket from an unlocked car and a maroon women’s bike.
The bike was secured with a cable and combination lock, according to police, and the cable was cut to remove the bike. Police said the bike has 26-inch wheels, a black seat and black handlebars, and a Bike Doctor sticker on the frame. The incident is believed to have occurred between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
