Annapolis High in Top 20 in Washington Post Challenge Rankings

Annapolis High School was ranked 17th in Maryland.

Annapolis High School was among the top schools in a Washington Post ranking of challenging schools in Maryland. 

The Post's ranking of the nation's most challenging high schools evaluated schools on the number of high-level tests (such as Advanced Placement or International Baccalaurate) given to students each year. They were also scored based on how many students passed at least one college-level test. 

In its ranking of schools in Maryland, Annapolis High School ranked 17th.

The 2013 rankings also featured high marks for South River High (6th), Severna Park High (13th) and Broadneck High (19th).
