Annapolis Irish Festival
The 2016 Annapolis Irish Festival (AIF) will be held on July 15 and July 16 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds.

The 2016 Annapolis Irish Festival (AIF) will be held on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. The festival is a family oriented event, celebrating Celtic music, traditions and customs. It features local and international Celtic bands, dancers, pipers, entertainers along with a wide array of vendors offering up authentic Irish foods, crafts, clothing and jewelry. AIF’s “Little Leprechaun Land,” where everything is free for the wee ones, is open on Saturday (only).
The Annapolis Irish Festival was founded by local musician, Eddie McGowan and debuted in 2011. Thanks to the support of Budweiser, Galway Bay, Murphy Commercial and 22 other local businesses, the festival has tripled its footprint, added a 26,000 sq. ft. “big top” structure tent, 3 stages, donated over $100,000 to local non-profits and evolved into a nationally recognized event.
Included in this year’s line up are: Gaelic Storm, Seamus Kennedy, Scythian, Carbon Leaf, Barley Juice, Goddard Sisters, Everything Fitz and more. Tickets are on-sale now (children 12 and under are free with an adult), and a limited number of VIP’s are available both days. Details at: http://www.annapolisirishfestival.com.
