Annapolis Lottery Player Claims Big Bonus Match 5 Win

An Annapolis woman bought a $50K winning Lottery ticket at a local 7-Eleven store.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — With only hours to go before the start of the Columbus Day holiday weekend, an Annapolis woman sailed into to Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore to claim her $50,000 prize in the Oct. 4 Bonus Match 5 drawing, according to a news release.

The 68-year-old zipped in and presented the lucky ticket she bought at a 7-Eleven store in Annapolis. The Anne Arundel County resident selected all of her own numbers on the $6 ticket and matched the winning numbers on her last line: 9, 10, 20, 25 and 26.

Her Anne Arundel County retailer also has reason to celebrate. The store located at 611 Taylor Avenue in Annapolis earns a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize ticket in the daily game.
