Annapolis Man Dies After Being Hit on Route 50
The man's car reportedly slid into a median, and when he got out of his vehicle he was hit and killed by an SUV.
An Annapolis man who was standing on the travel portion of US Route 50 after his car slid into the median was hit and killed by an SUV.
Jeffrey Kaplan, 43, lost control of his car and hit a center median early Wednesday morning, WJZ TV reports. Maryland State Police say Kaplan then got out of his car and was standing beside it in the roadway when an SUV being driven by a Hyattsville man hit him.
Kaplan was pronounced dead at the scene, the TV station says.
