An Annapolis dining spot is in the running for Maryland’s best new restaurant in an annual competition to select the state’s top restaurants, bars and chefs.
The Iron Rooster of Annapolis was nominated for “Best New Restaurant,” in the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s ”State of the Industry Awards.”
Also on the list are Ananda in Fulton, The Highland Inn in Highland, Lib’s Grill in Perry Hall and Touch of Italy in Ocean City.

Also, the restaurant’s sous chef, Julio Dupuy, is nominated for the Heart of the Industry award.
