Annapolis Pedestrian Robbed At Knifepoint On Clay Street
A Glen Burnie man has been charged with armed robbery for allegedly stealing a man's cell phone and wallet, Annapolis Police say.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A Glen Burnie man is being held without bond on charges he robbed a man at knifepoint early Sunday in Annapolis. The victim told Annapolis Police he was approached by a man with a knife about 5 a.m. in the 100 block of Clay Street.
According to police, the suspect took the victim’s cell phone and wallet and fled the area. Officers who responded to a call did not locate the robber. At 9:15 a.m. the victim reported seeing the suspect walking in the area of Clay Street near Town Pines Court.
Officers located Ronreques Johnson, 22, of Glen Burnie, who was identified as the robbery suspect and property stolen in the robbery was reportedly found in Johnson’s pockets.

Police arrested Johnson and charged him with armed robbery and five related charges. He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
