Annapolis Pharmacy Robbed, Suspect Caught
Police say the robbery suspect implied he was carrying a weapon.

A man suspected of robbing an Annapolis pharmacy didn’t get far Saturday night, say authorities.
Anne Arundel County police officers were called to the Rite Aid store at 2027 West St. in Annapolis about 9:38 p.m. Saturday for a reported robbery.
Witnesses told police a black man wearing a ski mask entered the business. The suspect implied he was carrying a weapon and robbed the business of property and an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the area into Annapolis City.

A witness told officers the suspect jumped a fence in a nearby neighborhood. A perimeter was established and the suspect was subsequently apprehended by the Annapolis Police Department.
Police say the suspect is Gary Ellis Brown Jr., 44, who has no fixed address. Authorities have not released the charges he faces or said whether he was found carrying a weapon.
