Annapolis' Pip Moyer Center Open for Relief from Heat
Temperatures will rise Thursday to a heat index in the triple digits; Annapolis residents can escape the heat at the cooling center.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — With temperatures expected to feel like 105 degrees on Thursday, the Pip Moyer Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane, will open as a cooling center today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Annapolis city officials said.
Residents using the facility as a cooling center will not have access to recreation activities.
