Annapolis Plans First Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade
Military groups, faith-based organizations, bands, floats and more are welcome to take part in the unique parade.

The City of Annapolis and the Annapolis Drum and Bugle Corps will host the first Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Monday, Jan. 19.
The parade will start at Amos Garrett Boulevard at noon and travel down West Street to Church Circle, go around the circle to Main Street, down Main Street, and end at City Dock.
Parade organizers have opened registration for participants. They are looking for family oriented groups, military, faith-based organizations, bands and floats. Organizers ask that all parade participants show respect and honor King.
