Annapolis Bank Robber Arrested In Baltimore County
Fletcher Dorsett, 51, was sought by Annapolis Police for robbing a Wells Fargo Bank. He was arrested by Baltimore County PD Oct. 28.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The man wanted for multiple bank robberies in the area has been arrested. The Annapolis Police Department announced Oct. 28 that Baltimore County police officers found the suspect, 51-year-old Fletcher Dorsett, and arrested him.
Dorsett stole an undisclosed amount of money Oct. 16 from the Wells Fargo Bank at 930 Bay Ridge Rd. The armed robbery occurred at approximately 11 a.m. According to police reports, Dorsett handed a bank employee a note demanding money and indicated that he had a gun with him but did not show it. He took the money the bank employee gave him and fled on foot.
With help from the FBI, Annapolis police detectives identified Dorsett and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft. Dorsett also is wanted in at least three additional bank robberies outside of Annapolis.
