Annapolis Police Seek Suspect Who Stabbed Man In The Back

A man attempted to break up a fight on Madison Street Aug. 8 but instead was stabbed in the back. Police seek information about the assault.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man in the back Aug. 8 at 12:54 a.m. in the 1100 block of Madison Street. According to the Annapolis Police Department, the man reported he was outside when a fight broke out and he intervened, trying to break it up.

Instead of stopping the fight, he instead was assaulted by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
