Victim Killed in Annapolis Shooting Identified (Update)
BREAKING: The Annapolis Police Department says a local man was killed in a shooting on Pleasant Street.

UPDATED at 9:20 p.m. ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man found with a gunshot wound on a sidewalk in the unit block of Pleasant Street has been identified by Annapolis authorities.
At 3:18 p.m. officers responded to several reports of shots fired and a person down. The victim, Walter Bryan, 46, of Annapolis, was found by police on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
The gunfire caused a brief lockdown of one nearby school, Mary Moss at J. Albert Adams Academy, 245 Clay St. After about 15 minutes the lockdown was lifted and all the students were sent home.

About 4:30 p.m. school official said the lockdown was lifted and all students have been dismissed.
Detectives ask anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Annapolis Police Department detectives at 410-260-3439.
