Annapolis Rapper Young Dylan On 'Ellen' Show Wednesday

7-year-old rapper Young Dylan from Annapolis will appear again on "The Ellen de Generes Show" Feb. 22.

ANNAPOLIS, MD —Young Dylan, a pint-sized 7-year-old Annapolis rapper who's appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" multiple times in 2016, is showcasing his skills again on Wednesday's show.

On the episode airing Feb. 22, Ellen sends Young Dylan to New Orleans to be her correspondent during the NBA All-Star Weekend. Young Dylan gets to meet legendary basketball players like Magic Johnson, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Carmelo Anthony.

Young Dylan, as he’s known, was the rap name bestowed on him by his dad, the precocious entertainer told Ellen in September 2016. Wednesday viewers can see Young Dylan perform Chance the Rapper's "No Problem," and Ellen gifts him with a Chance the Rapper themed outfit.

The Germantown Elementary School student told Ellen part of his motivation to be a rapper is to have 300 mansions when he grows up. One will be for him, one for his parents, and the rest will be used as an orphanage and for poor people to use.

The boy's parents created a “Young Dylan” Instagram page to display his rapping skills, which caught the attention of “Ellen” producers, the newspaper reports. Almost 183,000 followers of Young Dylan on Instagram can watch his videos as he puts his own spin on hip-hop songs.
