Annapolis Resident Honors Veterans With Decorative Memorial Outside Home
An Annapolis resident honored late veterans with a decorative memorial outside her home. Here are some pictures of the project.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis woman honored the city's late veterans with a memorial outside her home.
Denise Robinson crafted a fence garland of 132 hand-painted pumpkins, each inscribed with the name of a local servicemember who died in combat. The autumnal decoration remembers veterans of World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
The City of Annapolis posted pictures of the garland on Nov. 1. The recognition came just before Veterans Day, which is on Thursday.

You really put your heart into it."
