Annapolis Restaurants Up For State Awards; Vote Now

Several Annapolis area restaurants are competing for awards from Maryland's restaurant association; you can vote through April 1.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — An Annapolis restaurant is competing for the title of Maryland's favorite restaurant. Cantler's Riverside Inn has been nominated for the Restaurant Association of Maryland's Stars of the Industry Awards. The trade association sponsors the competition each year, and the public is invited to weigh in through online voting.

Cantler's is known for its seafood and sits on Mill Creek minutes from City Dock. "An Annapolis, Maryland icon, Cantler’s waterfront restaurant and crab house has been serving the area’s freshest seafood to watermen, boaters, and land lovers alike for nearly four decades," the restaurant website says.

To win the title of Maryland's favorite restaurant, Cantler's will have to get more votes than Clyde's of Columbia, Chevy Chase & Rockville; Steak and Main - North East; Texas Roadhouse - Statewide and Thames Street Oyster House - Baltimore.
