Well --ask and you shall receive. Yesterday I posted about "raining men", and complained about the fact that historically at our salsa parties, there is a shortage of men. But the tide changed last night (and my post worked), since for the first time since we have been having these soirees -we had MORE men than women! I was absolutely shocked. Typically we have to drag men to our party --while the ladies stand around looking sad. But last night I had to run around the Met and RECRUIT women from their beautiful rooftop deck, to dance with the men!
Talk about out of balance and awkward. Annapolis -- I know we can do better! Our instructor Brian, was forced to dance the "women's'" part during the lesson in order to teach the almost all male crowd. Nope, not cool at all.
Our next party will be sometime in September- and we are working on planning weekly salsa lessons in the Annapolis area. Hope to see you there.
