Annapolis Shakespeare Summer Camps!

Shakespeare's Play Fellows Camp (ages 6-10) 
Date: July 28 - August 1, 2014 
Time: 9am-12pm 

Location: Campus of St. John's College 
Cost: $225  
Bring your child's creative sensibilities to life with our half day camp that offers crafts, creative play, storytelling, dancing and much more! We will focus on a very short portion of Shakespeare's Tempest and share our mini-play with an invited audience on the final day of camp! ASC's trained teaching artists lead young actors through fun crafts, expressive physical and theatrical exercises, and fun games. Your young play fellows won't forget this fantastical journey to a tropical island full of mystical spirits, muddy monsters and cavorting clowns! No snacks provided. Campers should bring snacks, water, and be dressed to move in the outdoors.  

Shakespeare's Noble Fellows Camp (ages 11-16) 
Date: August 4 - 7, 2014 
Time: 9am - 5pm 

Location: Campus of St. John's College 
Cost: $385  
Campers will have classes in Shakespeare's history and language, movement and stage combat, acting and text. In addition, campers will rehearse a shortened selection from the play, The Tempest, which we will perform for parents and friends on the final day. ASC's trained teaching artists will challenge and encourage campers in the creative staging of the play while nurturing their understanding of theatre craft. Young actors who wish to explore Shakespeare's magical characters, sensational storytelling and hilarious dialogue should not miss this camp! No lunch provided. Campers should bring a bag lunch, water, and be dressed to move in the outdoors.

*Please note there is no extended care available for either camp.
