Teenager Shot, Hospitalized In Annapolis On St. Patrick's Day: Police

A 17-year-old boy was shot and hospitalized in Annapolis, police said. Investigators offered a $2,000 reward for tips.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police said a teenager was shot and hospitalized Thursday in Annapolis. The 17-year-old victim is in stable condition.

Authorities heard about the shooting in the 1900 block of Copeland Street around 9:08 p.m. Officers said they found the injured boy when they arrived.

The Annapolis Police Department is still investigating.

Informants may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 if their tips lead to an arrest or an indictment.

Detectives asked anybody with information to call 410-260-3439. Tipsters can stay anonymous by calling the Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
