Annapolis Shooting Victim Dies, Case Now A Homicide: Police
A man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds June 15 has died, and the case is now a homicide investigation, Annapolis police said.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds June 15 has died from his injuries, and the case is now a homicide investigation, Annapolis police said Tuesday.
Nelson Poston, 20, of Annapolis, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, and died Sunday. A police news release said he injured during an exchange of gunfire.
The shooting suspect, Dimitria Weston, 29, of Annapolis, was arrested at a residence in the 12300 block of Tyler Avenue. Weston was charged with attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault and related charges.

The Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland offered a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment on felony charges. The Metro Crime Stoppers is a non-police organization that collects tips and shares them with detectives.
