Annapolis St. Patrick's Day Parade 2019: Route, Lineup, Traffic

The Annapolis St. Patrick's Day Parade, the city's biggest parade, will be held Sunday, March 10. Here's the route and lineup.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The seventh annual Annapolis St. Patrick's Day Parade, billed as the biggest of the year in the city, will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 10. The parade is sponsored by Naptown Events, which is sponsoring shuttles from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to the staging area near Maryland Hall for parade participants and to the downtown area for parade watchers. Warrior Events will be the official beneficiary of the parade, which always benefits local charities. The parade includes more than 100 units and is expected to draw 5,000 to 7,000 people to Annapolis.

“This is a highlight for everyone who participates or watches,” Mayor Gavin Buckley said in a news release. “People from around the world are in the parade and families come from all over the area to line our city streets and take it all in – the fire trucks, the Irish dancers, the fife and drum corps, the marching bands, the floats. It’s wonderful.”

The parade will line up at Amos Garrett Boulevard or a designated side street, turn right onto West Street and travel clockwise around Church Circle to Main Street, down Main Street toward Randall/Compromise Circle, head clockwise (the wrong way) around Randall/Compromise Circle and exit via Randall Street.
