As the home of the Naval Academy, it's only fitting that a Navy band performed the "Anchors Aweigh" fight song at the start of the parade.
Several Irish dance troupes stomped their way through the crowd.

One float was decorated like a pirate ship, a shamrock and a rainbow leading to a pot of gold.

Paradegoers dressed for the occasion with festive green outfits.

Even the pooches dressed to the nines.

Multiple boats rolled through.

Gov. Wes Moore ran down the street and greeted supporters.
Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman smiled for photos with kids.
Annapolis Mayor Gavin Buckley shook hands. His team also carried signs touting his biggest achievements.
Local businesses with floats included The Green Turtle, Mission BBQ and the Guinness brewery. An Odyssey Axe Throw trailer towed two people chucking axes at targets.
