The Environmental Summit is a gathering of key stakeholders to educate, dialogue, plan and take action on strategies that lead to a cleaner Chesapeake Bay. This event provides a venue for non-profits, citizens and community leadership to collaborate on strategies to identify restoration opportunities in their local watershed.

Attendees will learn about the Anne Arundel County Watershed Protection & Restoration Program and hear first hand accounts how local organizations have successfully implemented restoration projects through various partnerships. Community leaders will hear from local experts on how to identify and prioritize local restoration projects and how to fund those projects. An optional rain garden tour is available after the program.

Anne Arundel County is coordinating this effort to promote a watershed-wide approach of collaboration with a diverse network of key leaders and decision makers in order to facilitate the restoration of our local waterways.
