The Sound We Make brings together the best of Annapolis’ vibrant music scene for a one-night collaboration that bridges genres, generations, and artistic voices.
Featuring original works by local singer-songwriters including Dean Rosenthal, Jimi Haha, Wordslave, and Madisun Bailey, this unique performance pairs contemporary songwriting with live orchestration by the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and students from the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Each artist’s work is expanded through collaboration with the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and students from the Chesapeake Youth Symphony Orchestra, adding depth, color, and new dimension to their original songs. Through guided pranayama paired with planetary aromatherapy rituals, you'll learn simple, grounded ways to harmonize with planetary cycles, regulate your nervous system, and create real moments of balance in your daily rhythm. No astrology background, no Sanskrit, no experience required — just a willingness to notice and attune.

Sherry Steine is a Yoga Therapist, Vedic Astrologer, and Certified Aromatherapist through the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). Her work weaves together the ancient sciences of Jyotish, yoga, and aromatherapy — offering planetary wisdom not as prediction, but as relationship. Through breath, scent, and subtle body awareness, she invites students to feel the cosmos as something near, not distant; something you live in conversation with, not under.
Sherry's teaching centers on accessibility and embodiment, meeting each student where they are and offering practices that are both practical and meaningful. She is the author of Aligned by the Stars: An Integrative Guide to Vedic Astrology and Aromatherapy for Life Challenges&nbsp;and through her private work, educational offerings, and writing, she empowers individuals to engage with ritual and self-study in ways that feel grounded, intuitive, and sustainable.
