Woman Catches Boyfriend Abusing Dog On Video: Report
Security camera footage caught an Annapolis man abusing a dog, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Officers arrested an Annapolis man on animal cruelty charges last Saturday. The man's girlfriend called 911 on Friday after catching the abuse on a security camera, an incident report said.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Carriage Hill Court in Annapolis to watch the video. Officers then accused the man of kicking the dog several times. Patch simplified their accusation for the sake of decency.
The dog, a 3-year-old Polish Sheepdog, eventually escaped. The girlfriend took the dog to an animal hospital for possible leg injuries, police added. Officers do not have an update on the dog's condition.

Donohue, 39, faces felonious charges of aggravated animal cruelty and first-degree assault. He is also up against two misdemeanors: second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
A judge released Donohue on recognizance on Monday. He will next appear in court on Dec. 9 for a preliminary hearing. His trial is slated for March 2, 2021.
