Assailant Tried to Grab, Kiss Woman: Police

A woman reported to police that a man approached her on a playground, asked for her number and tried to kiss her.

A woman at a playground with her child was assaulted by a man who asked for her phone number, say Annapolis Police.

The incident happened about 5 p.m. Sunday at a playground in the 700 block of Chase Street.

The woman was with her child at the playground when a man approached and started talking to her. He asked for her phone number and then grabbed her arm and attempted to kiss her. When the woman told him she was calling the police, the assailant fled on foot into the woods.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s, 6’03”, thin build, with short white and grey hair and slight facial hair. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, a grey shirt, and blue jeans.
