Back To School: AACPS 2021-22 School Calendar
Summer is winding down and school preparation is heating up. Mark your calendars for the first day of class in Anne Arundel County.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — School supplies have returned to the shelves. That means families across Anne Arundel County are marking their calendars with the first day of class.
Students head back after Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 6) and Rosh Hashanah (Tuesday, Sept. 7). Here is when Anne Arundel County Public Schools students will return.
First Day

- Wednesday, Sept. 8 (Grades 1–5, 6 and 9 only.)
- Thursday, Sept. 9 (Everybody else in grades 1 through 12.)
- Wednesday, Sept. 8 through Friday, Sept. 17 (Staggered openings for ECI, Pre-K and Kindergarten. See the chart at this link.)

- Only students are off. Teachers work this day.
Presidents' Day
- Monday, Feb. 21
Spring Break
- Saturday, April 9 through Monday, April 18
Eid al-Fitr And Professional Development Day
- Tuesday, May 3
- Only students are off. Teachers work this day.
Last Day For Graduating Seniors

Memorial Day
- Monday, May 30
Last Day For Students
