Baltimore County Man Shot, Killed In Anne Arundel County: Police

A Baltimore County man was shot and killed in Anne Arundel County Friday morning, police said. Officers are still looking for the shooter.

SEVERN, MD — Police said a Baltimore County man was shot and killed in Severn early Friday morning. They identified the victim as Brandon Anthony Davis of Windsor Mill. He was 34.

Around 12:17 a.m., officers heard word of a shooting at the intersection of Pioneer Drive and Arwell Court. First responders said they found Davis lying in the roadway, suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound.

An incident report noted that locals gave Davis first aid until police arrived. Medics tried to save him, but Davis was pronounced dead on the scene at 12:33 a.m., the write-up continued.

Officers ruled the death a homicide. They collected several pieces of evidence and sent Davis' body for an autopsy, which will determine the exact cause and manner of his death, investigators added. Police searched the area again in the morning, hoping to find more witnesses.
