Baltimore Man Charged In Annapolis Shooting
Annapolis Police have charged a Baltimore man with attempted murder in a Thursday shooting.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis Police have charged a Baltimore man with attempted murder in a Thursday shooting. Authorities received a report of an unknown problem about 5 p.m. in the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass Street, and were flagged down by a bystander who reported that someone had been shot.
The victim, Terrance Hicks, 38, of Annapolis, was found by police to be suffering from non-life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
Detectives determined that Hicks was outside in the area when he was shot by Trey Thorpe, 31, of Baltimore. An arrest warrant for Thorpe charged him with attempted first-degree murder and related charges.

Thorpe was arrested Friday in the 100 block of Brightwater Drive.
