Barbara Lorraine Manos, 80, of Annapolis, passed away October 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 55 years, Pete L. Manos; two daughters, Helene Manos of Annapolis and Cindy Manos and husband, Mark of Millersville; her grandson, Anthony; brother, Richard Isper of Ohio and sister, Sandra Caldwell of Virginia; along with many other family, friends and pets.

Barbara received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and went on to pursue a career in teaching. Her true calling though was her family. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara’s strength and wisdom were the foundation of the Manos family. She was devoted to Pete, raising their children, and caring for her grandchild.

The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater.

Barbara’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Road in Annapolis. Interment will be at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
