STEVENSVILLE, MD — The boating season on Chesapeake Bay begins this weekend with the 37th annual Bay Bridge Boat Show. Organizers expect more than 400 boats, up to 75 feet in length, to be on display in Stevensville at the Bay Bridge Marina. Show hours are: Friday, April 12, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, April 14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

An array of powerboats from fishing boats and trawlers to pontoons and luxury cruisers will be on hand. Not only will boaters be able to inspect all the newest models on the market, make side-by-side comparisons, talk to industry representatives and experts about all aspects of buying and owning a boat, but PropTalk Demo Dock will give prospective boat buyers an opportunity to take a demonstration ride before making the decision to buy.

Check out more than 100 on-land exhibits of the latest in navigational equipment, high-tech electronics, inflatables, boating accessories, clothing, gear, and related services such as boating clubs, insurance firms, and lending institutions.
